Heres the situation:

Your favorite team is playing Team B in the last game of the season. The winner of this game clinches the wild card spot. However, the pitcher on Team B is on your fantasy team, and a win from that pitcher is the ONLY was you could win your $1000 fantasy league. What do you want to happen?

A) Team B wins. You team doesn't make the playoffs, but you win your fantasy league

B) Your favorite team goes to the playoffs, but your pitcher gets blown out and you lose your league and your shot at the money

What do you guys pick? Just wondering...

The unhappiness from the Sox just missing out on the playoffs would EASILY overcome any happiness $200 could give me.

Yeah is this even a question for 200 dollars? It would have to be a hell of a lot more than that to vote for A. Real baseball comes first or there wouldn't a fantasy league.

hmm, I'll take the 1000 bucks. but I'm a jaded braves fan who thinks they should've won more world series by now. as long as smoltz is on the team, I'll root for 'em though...

i'd take the money.

my MLB team's victory is shared by a city, my fantasy team's victory is mine alone.

oh and then there's the cash.

I can't put a $$$ value on what it meant to me to have the Red Sox win. I suppose of the amount of money involved in the fantasy league was so large that it was going to impact my life in some significant fashion, I would go for the cash. Otherwise, I'll go for my team.

I thought it was because your team would be out in the 1st round anyway, so you might as well take the cash knowing your team wouldn't win it all!
