Seems like they both have the same injury yet Cliff is too much of a sally to play through it.
Although Vernon seems to be trashing his AVG. because he is playing through it.
So who is the better player? One who plays through some pain or one who sits through it?

A guy who plays poorly hurt v. a guy who sits while hurt? I'll take the guy who sits, I can always plug in a subsitute

a bit of both. I have Vernon as a everday guy and Floyd as a bench player, but have been playing Floyd until Vernon gets his bat going. Which I hope will begin shortly!!!!
Now I'm playing Vernon, since Floyd is sitting, who seems to be hurting my stats because he is playing..
I'm thinking of benching vernon and putting in my only other bench guy, B. Inge. That just sounds crazy though!

And you can't plug in a substitute for a player who's not sitting?

That is crazy. Vernon will come right. He was off to a very slow start in April 2004 as well.
