At least it's not as bad as flopping quads in online hold-em and then getting disconnected.

In the midst of my celebration, I am shocked to see that he is on my BENCH. ????? Please tell me this is a joke or something. I am SURE that I had him starting. Did this happen to anyone else? I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that Yahoo didn't have Lowe as a probable pitcher for today. I'm confused and angry...someone please explain before I convince myself that I want to quit fantasy baseball right now.

Hey, think of it this way. At least you aren't a fan of the team who got shut out by Derek Lowe.

Well, that's weird, my friend just told me of the EXACT same story, he put D Lowe in the SP spot, and he ended up on his bench. Haha, guess it really was Yahoo.

There is an occasional Yahoo glitch where you will make a transaction or change, hit the submit tab, and then get taken to the home page rather than your team page. If that happens, your move did not go through and you must repeat the process. Doesn't happen often, thankfully, but it's something you have to watch out for.

It's also why you should always double check your roster once your move is completed. It's just like counting your change at the 7-11. Always make sure.

Happened to me when Jason Marquis won a few days ago... I accidentally made the move for the following day... Probably what you did. Live and learn.

Man, that blows and I know how you must be feeling. But quitting??

Sometimes I think I am setting my lineups in advance and somehow forget to actually set a certain day and end up losing big numbers to guys on my bench. This is a downfall to having too many leagues.

Well, I wasn't going to say anything about it, but a similar thing happened to me yesterday. I was sure I had benched Gathright and replaced him in my lineup, but when I looked at it last night he was still there. Maybe Yahoo had a slight glitch?
