Ehh, it'll probably be a wash IMO. Guillen will come a lot cheaper, so if you're buying, I'd take Guillen. If you're selling, move Renteria. ;-D

Yeah, I'm trying to buy Guillen.

Would you think Eaton and Hafner for Guillen and Mussina is fair? He has Renteria and Guillen, and I figure he might let one of them go cheap.

Thats not a bad offer. You really dont want to start off by offering a trade that is a guarantee accept. Always try to get the best value in the trade, and that means offering a first offer of one you dont quite think he will accept. Its just to get talks started.

I would think he'll happily take that deal. Parting with Hafner means sending 30/100 down the pike. In other words, he would hardly be letting one of them go cheap. He'd be getting a great price. Particularly since I'm no longer especially thrilled about Mussina.

I actually would take Renteria by alot, but agree with saying that Carlos should come cheaper.
