his trick delivery no longer working or what? I guess when you top out at 85 MPH, eventually hitters catch up to you. How long b4 Hermanson is designated as closer?

seriously.... he was good for "inf" WHIP tonight. Brutal!
And what's with Mike Gonzalez while we're at it? My RP's are crushing me so far...

I know I read where they thought the Indians had his number so I think it is just a matchup thing.

The ChiSox played Seattle tonight and Hermanson replaced Takatsu in the 9th to earn the save.

I doubt Hermanson will be the closer; if things keep falling apart it'll be just a pure closer-by-committee, in which case they're all worthless in all but deep leagues.

I just picked up Hermanson, figured it was worth a shot. He's got pretty good stuff, and is in a weak division. I think he came in with the bases loaded tonight to get the save.

Had it not been for how impressive Hermanson was in this role last year for SF, I would agree. But in this case, I'll hope you're wrong. I really like Hermanson in this role, and will hope Ozzie does as well...although I do see a committee of sorts for now with Takatsu still in the lead, just not for long.
