Day off. ;-)

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Just another example of an under-experienced manager trying to show how smart he is. "I know, I'll rest players" Good idea, except the player your resting is 22 years old and could play in 200 games and not be tired.

The fact that I have Wright not producing for me tonight in no way influenced my thoughts on this.

I was pretty pissed about the sit as well. I needed some run production tonight.

willie has a lot of people to keep happy in that room

if it means a rookie sits once every 10 games, that's how it will be

I'm not a Wright owner, but safe to say he'll play most games.

Wright isn't hitting a lick right now and he was also 0/5 vs. Beckett.

Good move by Randolph, the perfect spot to sit Wright for a night.
