I spent much more time preparing for draft, but i just used a computer program for taxes (ha, but i would never trust a computer program to do my draft).
Look up form 4868. It's your friend if you will have fewer baseball leagues to deal with by August 15.
ps -- read the instructions carefully -- it doesn't delay your paying the taxes, just FILING them. payments are still due today :(

Actually, you didn't just MAKE $300. You paid the gov't TOO MUCH out of your pay check.
The thing you are SUPPOSED to do is not pay the gov't at all during the year and use the money to make investments THEN pay them what you owe for the year on the very last day. Easier said than done.

I did my taxes before January was over. I think I did them on the 29th this year. Always makes it nice to get it out of the way nice and early.

did em last night took 20 minutes to do both state and fed w/ good old telefile as far as what yoda said about not makin 300 bucks but the govt taking 300 too much I agree w/ that 400% but I'm always paranoid about the end of the year... I always try and balance it out so I get nothing in April, but I don't owe anything either
