First year player, in a 12 team h2h league. Here are the ranked stats:
(I guess that's a 13x12 league)

My team:
C M. Barrett (ChC - C)
1B A. Pujols (StL - 1B)
2B J. Vidro (Was - 2B)
3B C. Koskie(Tor - 3B)
SS J. Rollins (Phi - SS)
LF K. Mench (Tex - LF,CF,RF)
CF T. Hunter (Min - CF)
RF B. Wilkerson (Was - 1B,LF,CF,RF)
Util N. Garciaparra (ChC - SS)
BN D. Young (Det - 1B)
BN N. Swisher (Oak - LF,RF)
DL B. BondsDL (SF - LF)

SP K. Wood (ChC - SP)
SP B. Arroyo (Bos - SP)
RP J. Mesa (Pit - RP)
RP K. Foulke (Bos - RP)
P D. Marte (CWS - RP)
P J. Schmidt (SF - SP)
P A. Burnett (Fla - SP)
BN B. Lawrence (SD - SP)
BN H. Street (Oak - RP)

Sorry for just asking simple advice, & I know you don't know who's available and what trades are possible, but I'm uncertain who to move. I know I need a 3b and more solid starting pitching and/or one more closer, but how to coax that out of a trade? More than willing to float Bonds or Nomar, & Wilkerson has inflated trade value...

Thanks for any thoughts!

First things first... correct your scoring categories.

There is no reason to count runs AND earned runs for pitchers

There is no reason to count earned runs AND ERA for pitchers

There is no reason to count hits AND total bases allowed for pitchers... as they will feel the pinch of extra base hits in the runs allowed or ERA column.

What does OUT mean for pitchers? Out? Meaning three points for an inning pitched?

I would drop 1B, 2B, and 3B from your hitting categories, as you are already counting hits and total bases.

on to your team....

I think you have a good team for a 12 team league. See if you can trade for help in the outfield and for the back end of the rotation.

looks like a pretty good team to me. only advice i can think of is to wait until nomar gets hot, then try to rade him for a slugging 3B. your only other weakness is OF, but that'll be much (much) better once barry comes back.
