Apr 14 Ramirez (groin) started in the first game of the Cubs' doubleheader on Wednesday, but sat out the second, the Cubs' website reports.
Recommendation: The team will keep an eye on the third baseman so he doesn't aggravate the injury. Last year, Ramirez hurt his groin on July 2 and didn't return to the lineup until July 18. Despite devoting time this offseason and in spring training to strengthening his groin, Ramirez apparently tweaked it running the bases over the weekend. Expect Ramirez to play through it, but he could get occasional days off.

who are the cubs that they kep talkin' about? ;-7

That's what Peavy's breaking pitches will do to you. You swing at them and there goes that groin. ;-) ;-)

Hmm.. wonder how he went about strengthening his groin? ;-)
Maybe he needs to get back to doing it some more.

Maybe it is time to look into a new trainer.

They have a new trainer this year actually.

And Aramis was going to sit the game (because of the groin) on Wednesday that was rained out. So, take it as a good thing that he played on Thursday.
