His splits from last year were the same as they were when you drafted him, you should have done the worrying then and bumped him down your lists. Saves you the trouble now.

Oh I had thought they changed. Thanks dad.

Hm maybe he was low on my lists but SP were taken too early and he was all that was left for my team that dominates hitting stats , has the best middle relief and some risky Perez/Beckett type guys.

You're welcome "Son". You acknowledge your pitchers are risky, yet are worried. I'm confused. I'm sure the people who drafted Perez to be their ace are the ones who are worried.

Oliver was drafted as my ace.

What I'm getting at is I drafted Giambi thinking he might be good. Am I worried that he isnt doing great yet? No, late(R) round picks come with a certain amount of worrying by default. Obviously you would be worried to an extent, but what I'm saying is the level of worry I think you should be feeling is much less than someone worrying about their top round picks.

He's not doing that bad. I'm not worried about him one bit. Just be patient, I didn't expect him to come out hitting .300 with 4 HRs in the first week. Temper your expecations, once the summer hits balls go flying out of Arlington.

Thanks. I suppose it's just my rookie nerves, but it really is infuriating when everyone I bench kicks butt while I wait for him to come round. Nonetheless, I know what he is capable of. And that's the joy of it after all. seeing guys come into it. turn it around. do what you know they can.
