Is this something to look for in trades an pick ups. I think there is, a pitcher up to bat verses a DH.

That is typically why it's better to have NL pitchers vs AL. No DH means only 8 guys that "should" be able to hurt you. There are exceptions to the rule tho of course. RJ, Schilling, Santana are AL pitchers and were prolly taken earlier than most NL pitchers.

i dont usually consider ita factor unless a player has switched leagues. because otherwise you can look at a players stats from the year before and adjust accordingly, but i guess for a guy like pedro its something u have to consider.

in aggregate, nl pitchers will have better numbers than al pitchers. that doesnt necessarily mean you ignore al guys though. if they are good, you take them. you dont need to avoid players just because they pitch in the al.
