I'm a huge Mags fan so it sucks to say it but it could be, I still think alot of these cats are off the juice = low homer totals (Thome, Helton, Manny) i may be wrong , but i may be right, Maybe kids like Guillen & Roberts are on juice or maybe they never were so no dropoff.
back to Mags it is very similar to Giambi, we wil have to wait & see , im thinking of trying to buy low
Why are you shocked Guillen is hitting home runs? He hit like 30 last year...

im not shocked at all(well maybe that he has 5 already) im just saying maybe he was never on Juice thats why no dropoff for him. or maybe hes still on it (shrugs)
What type of numbers are you expecting from Magglio so that you need to buy low? There's going to be a ton of MLB OF's that will outproduce, so sure if you need a guy who might hit above .300 with all those injuries and 25 HRs go for it.
I think Magglio's being overrated and there's tons of players out there who are going to give you similar numbers to a Detroit OF who might play 140 games.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

I suppose his value has sunk like a stone after leaving Chicago and dealing with all the injuries, though. At best I'd think he'd be good for 30 - 300 over a full healthy season in Comerica. With the health issues... he's a #3 OFer. I guess he'd be a good buy-low candidate if his owners would take some peanuts for him.
OK just checked the Cafe Challenge and Big L took him in the 8th round... too pricey for me.
Got him for Burrell in one (respecatable) league
