Man, I hate Field of Dreams. It always just seemed like cliches wrapped up in a sentimental story. It seems so... obvious. I'd vote for any movie above Field of Dreams.

Honestly, I just don't see the appeal of the movie. Maybe it's because I teach literature, but the whole story seems so trite and obvious. I've seen it a few times, too, so it's not like I didn't give it a chance. But, c'mon! It's a chick flick, really. It's just about baseball so you all love it. It's terrible.

Oh, and Mookie - sorry about the Lance Armstrong reference above. If I went over the line, let me know. For the record, I have no idea about Mookie's (edited by Mod).

Does anyone else see Mookie as a a cross between Alex Trebek and Motorcycle Boy in Rumblefish man? with a tiny bit of make up and some possible latent martial arts ability couldn't he be the next Bruce Lee?
