Somehow I managed to wind up with Preston in a couple of leagues this year. Right now, I'm starting him at home (thank you Coors) and benching him on the road. Haven't really figured out what I'm going to do with him long term yet.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Sound advice. His two games at home last week were very good and four of the next five series the Rockies play are at home so definitely pick him up for those starts and drop Quinlan.

I gave up on this guy long ago. He really played over his head with 120+ RBI's. He isnt that good, and he strikes out way too much. Dont hold your breath for another season like that.

I agree with you...he's not that good...but he has to be a LOT better than anyone else on the FA list in a 20 team league.

Actually, I wouldnt even play him in the 20 team league...and if there isnt anyone good on the waiver, I would not pick anyone up either....he is only going to hurt all of your ratio stats. And the contribution that he will give to the cumulative stats will not be that great.

Have you ever seen the FA lists in 20 team leagues?
i had guessed i might have to platoon him when i drafted him. not a big deal. i did the same thing with jay payton in 03 and it worked out well. i wouldnt give up on him though. the season is still very young.
