I don't get a chance to see him play that much and was wondering what everybody thinks of him? I was high on him coming into the season. I am not giving up him, but I am looking for some insight

Rowand is a very good hitter, and will blossom this year. He's a patient hitter, with good power to all fields. He's just off to a slow start. I'd at least have a bench spot for a guy with real 30/30 potential.

I'm in Chicago, so I've been able to watch a few Sox games. I also have Rowand on my team. He's not striking out (he's not walking either though) and a lot of his outs are hard hits, just right at people. He's also had a couple fly outs that would have been HR's if it wasn't for Jacob's Field being a wind tunnel this past week.

Thanks RFA, I'm not worried about Rowand at all, he's my second outfielder.. I know he'll put up solid numbers. It's good to hear from someone who sees him play everyday though.

Thanx for the response on Rowand. I was glad to get him in the draft and this puts me at ease

Dunn or Rowand - who would you rather have? HR friendly ballpark or patient hitter.
