you guys are being much too harsh on Lowe. He's looking great in his new park, and a groundball pitcher fits perfectly there.

Lone dissenter...

Perez (was unlucky last year)
Penny
Lowe (Change of scene will help him recapture his old form, plus he is IDEALLY suited to the park.)
Weaver

His WHIP is too high and his Ks are too low(e) for Derek to have any fantasy significance in most leagues.

Od.Perez
Penny
Lowe
Weaver

I'm taking into account Penny's injury factor. If Penny returns to form, I put him number 1. As for Lowe, I'm one of the few who thinks his numbers will be solid by years' end...much better than Weaver's.

i couldnt resist it.

20.1 IP, 1 W, 14K, 1.77 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, 6.20 K/9

GCSO with 17/5 GB to FB ratio in his first (only) start at Dodger Stadium.
@SF(albiet without Bonds, Alou) and @ARI in two of last years Top 10 Hitters parks.
his numbers (so far) are good, who knows if he can keep it up.

I like Lowe, but Hey, you never know, he COULD blow up the next 15 starts and do horrible. I guess thats baseball.

Yah, D. Lowe is one of my favorite pitchers. Great to see him back in good form. Just hope he keeps it up.

In the last three seasons Derek Lowe is second to only Bartolo Colon in wins. He looked incredible tonight although we havn't been hitting much lately anyway.
