Mora was one of those hitters who never had a fancy Minor League resume. He's also one of those guys alot of people believed was playing waaaay over his head (the last two years) .
Maybe he's falling back into old habbits that made him the average-joe utility man he was while he played on the Mets...And the very mediocre years he had IN '01 and '02 with the O's. With about 1000AB's he posted an accumalated BA of .241
I wouldnt be dropping him yet, but at his age (33) with his career #'s it wouldn't be to crazy for people to have a shorter leash on him.
THe way his slugging % skyrocketed over the last year and a half it wouldn't be to far of a reach to put him on the suspect list for steroid use.

I have a problem with responses like these. They seem to be pretty common around here. Would you mind backing up your point with some type of analyses or evidence on why we should "buy buy buy" or is that to much work?

Why wouldn't you want a guy who in total value terms was a top 10 player last year if someone is giving him up for cheap. You would have to be stupid not trade for him if you can get him for someoen more pedestrian.
The question was whether or not he should he bought low. This begs a binary answer. I answered yes. I think everyone is smart enough to figure out what this means. What is there to expand on?
