my roster is bleeding at-bats — what do I do with Morneau?

Here's my lineup and such:

12-team 7x5 roto
average, errors, home runs, batter strikeouts, runs, rbi, stolen bases
ERA, strikeouts, WHIP, net wins (W-L), saves
Weekly roster changes, C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3 OF, 3 SP, 2 RP
C: Kendall 1B: Morneau 2B: Utley
3B: Blalock SS: Renteria
OF: Huff, C. Lee, Drew, P. Wilson, L. Gonzalez
SP: R. Johnson, Santana, Harden, Piniero, Haren
RP: Dotel, Ryan, Gagne, Tsao

We have a salary cap and no DL. We have to have a backup at each infield position.
Unfortunately, my backup for Morneau is Casey Kotchman (because he is cheap).
I'm already losing ABs with Utley's platoon situation, which I hope ends in a month or two.
Now I have Morneau going down for at least another week.
The only reasonable waiver replacement is Shawn Green, but I would have to drop Morneau outright (or at least someone like Luis Gonzalez) to free up salary for such a move.
Should I just accept that the season is long and ride out the week?
We do count batter strikeouts and errors against you, so he would actually help in those categories while he's DLed.

You have Huff in your line-up. What back-ups do you have in the outfield? You can move Huff to 1B (assuming he qualifies in your league format) and plug in one of your spare OFs.

Sorry, should have mentioned that. Our league's position eligibility rules are that a player is only eligible at their primary position at the beginning of the year (only exceptions are true utlility guys) until they get 10 games at a new position. Hence, Huff is only OF-eligible.
By the way, I hate that rule.
Nice thought, though.

Sorry dude, can't help beyond that idea. It all depends on what happens with Morneau's health. If he's only out another week and comes back ready to play, I'd suck it up for a week. If this is going to linger like Marcus Giles' daily imminent return, that's a different story. If it was me, I'd stick it out another week and see what happens. Maybe the best thing to come of this is the lesson learned -- if the rules require a back-up at each position, make sure you have one.
