Josh Towers??

I realize this kid has been terrible in the past, but he's off to a great start. Any word on his potential? He's kinda young..

Towers is not worth a roster spot except in very deep AL only leagues.

The other young Toronto starter, David Bush, may be worth a spot.

he'll pitch some games like he did last night, and then completely bomb in others. there is no way to pick which ones though, so i won't be touching him this year. :-P

He's walking a fine line between being really good.. and being really crappy. He never walks anybody, but if he doesn't locate things perfectly and avoid the big hits, he'll suffer big time. I don't think I'd want him on my fantasy team with that potential to have a game that could cripple your ERA.

Towers is the 5th best (when Lilly returns) starter fantasy-wise on the Toronto Blue Jays. That should be all you need to know. The guys you should be looking at are Bush and Chacin.

towers looked pretty good in his first two starts...which means he's about to implode. :-B

JP said he's never seen towers slider this good in the past...and it seems like his fastball has good velocity this year...

ahhh...you just never know, right?

keep an eye on him... ;-D

let's revisit this -- will he keep it up or is he due to crash and burn?

What is not to like with a 3 - 1 record, 25 K's to 2 walks, and a 3.57 era? He's coming off 2 wins including shutting down the Juggernaught Orioles in his last outing. With his 2 start week coming up, this may be the time to take a chance on him. Low walk counts is the first sign of a young pitcher turning things around.
