Upon Padilla's return, do you think Floyd will be sent down if he has an equal are greater game that his first start, which was nothing short of great?

I have no idea what Philly is going to do when Padilla returns but if Floyd continues to pitch like this how can they send him down? It's not like their rotation is loaded.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I just think their rotation (Lieber/Wolf/Lidle/Myers/Padilla) is not good enough to warrant sending Floyd back to the minors if he continues to pitch well. That's just my opinion.

well, I think padilla and wolf are underrated actually. especially padilla. lieber and lidle were brought here, so that doesn't make sense. Maybe send down myers? he has been pitching well too.
It is alog jam, but he is the obvious send down, unless they go with a six man rotation pending a trade.

The problem is that they have a bunch of decent SP but they are all no better than #3's at this point.
agreed on that. I think they should keep floyd up, but a couple of these guys go beyond baseball decisions and involve business decisions. I'd think they would try and keep myers up. but if they had to choose, maybe he gets sent down?
while we are the subject of phillies pitchers, what does everyone think of padilla? I have him, matt morris and piniero coming off the dl int he next few weeks. padilla worth holding onto?

Depends if he is stashed on your DL or burning a bench spot and who else is out there.
