Yahoo has put a PPD up by my Cubbie/Padre players and has locked the positions, not allowing any substitutions. Is this the normal procedure and doesn't that bite the big one? Tough luck on a head to head format. Shoulda, woulda, coulda knew to make changes prior to the start.
there is a time period between the game is officially postponed and rosters are locked. if i had anyone to replace my guys, i could have. stay on top of postponements and it wont "suck"

Yes, apparently. I was very lucky this afternoon to check my team page and see the PPD before the positions were locked. I was able to pull Ramon Hernandez out of my Util position and put in Kotsay.

If you're not online when the postponement occurs, that advice is useless.
It's not a particularly good system, IMO. Yahoo ought to just keep the lineup change rules the same, using the original game time.
Your wisemen don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick...
Thanks for the quick replies. One more question......
Tomorrow is a scheduled double header, so could you get two games out of Padre/Cubs players by starting them tomorrow? That would at least make up for today.

Yep, can be pretty fun. But watch out for the dreaded 0-10 days.

+1 to this, I have seen very few guys who are worth it in double headers, except the SP in the second game. The guys are usually gassed. 'Let's play two'= bad %age #s, few big games from big boppers and ends up digging a small hole that's not worth the low potential. I've got a bunch of Padres and a couple of Cubs on both my teams so I took a big 'whiff' on counting stats today but I'm going to try to work around them tomarrow.

As far as I know, the game-time stays as originally stated. I know I was able to sub out players in that game today. The biggest issue today was that I didn't have a lot of options to sub in on a monday!
Another thing to remember is that most times games aren't ppd ahead of time giving us any time to make a sub. usually they the game will be delayed for a while before suspending it not giving anybody a chance to make changes
