I'll go with Lowry for this season, although there may not end up being a lot of difference. Lowry made progress with his K rate last season, although he posted a pretty wicked reverse lefty/righty split which is a bit confounding. Long-term I'd probably go with Williams if he can stay healthy, but you're still just talking about a mid-rotation guy. All signs point to Cain and Foppert (and possibly Valdez) being the future hope of the Giants staff.
I actually drafted Williams with a few late round flyer picks, so I'd go with Williams.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Lowry by a mile. He has one of the best change ups in the league. Fastball 92, change up 75, good curve. He should have a better era as well as plenty more Ks.
I've got them as my #4 and 5 starters behind Santana, Oswalt, Buerlhe. I don't really have a strong opinion on the better of the 2, but I like em both! I expect 12 wins and 135ks and pretty decent 3.8/ 1.25 periphs from em both. Anyone think there's a big difference in their prospective years?
