From a guy who just talked to Tsao himself:

"To paraphrase, Tsao says he feels 100%, his velocity is back to normal, and that he expects the ball in the ninth according to what he is being told by his manager and coaches"

Rockies pitchers are always dangerous, but Tsao is a very good young pitcher so he's worth at least stashing on the bench. He probably won't be used tonight because he pitched Sunday, but tomorrow he should be available and Hurdle has said Tsao is the closer.

Apr 11 Tsao had no problems in a minor league rehab appearance over the weekend, and the Rockies plan to activate the righthander in time for Tuesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Tsao, who has been sidelined since late in spring training with tendinitis in the rotator cuff in his pitching shoulder, will reclaim the closer duties, according to manager Clint Hurdle.

Who knows when managers will change their minds, but according to Hurdle himself, and Tsao at about 6 PM tonight, he is the closer.

I would have kept Brazoban as Gagne might be out for a few months and Dodger Stadium is much better for pitchers than Coors.
