I played in HS and my first year of University... if you think football is rough, try playing with absolutely no safety equipment (a mouthgard is the extent of it) and you're not allowed to have people block for you. And the play doesn't stop when you get destroyed like that. If you hang on to the ball after being tackled, be prepared for 5 sets of metal cleats to be kicking at your arms until you release it. And if you don't release it right away, you get a penalty. But it's a fun game :-D

Also... a lot of those hits were illegal. Nothing above the shoulders is allowed, and you have to make an attempt at wrapping your arms around the guy, you can't just run into him.
