When is Izzy coming back?

I just traded Mcdougal for Izzy. When is Izzy coming back? I think the royals and Mcdougal are going to come back to earth. What is everyone else's opinion. Thanks

I think the Royals will be a .500 team this season...maybe as much as 85-90 wins. I'm still holding on to Mac for now...Pena isn't showing much confidence in him at the moment...as for Izzy, I'm thinking another 2 weeks.

What if I were to tell you Izzy is done for the year if he has another set-back?

At this point, Izzy and the Cards are 'slowing down' his recovery. The current target is the end of the month, early June. He has had set-backs, so I wouldn't be 'counting' on anything at this point. I desperately need him back, but I woulod be very leery of trading for him.

MacDougal surprised me early. I didn't pick him up for fear his control would lead to elevated WHIP & ERA, and not enough saves to begin with. Trading him was probably a wise move, getting Izzy back makes it a risky move as well.

I agree that trading for Izzy was a mistake, given that noone really knows what his status is. There have been rumours flying around that the Cards have been making a play with the Mets to get Armando Benitez, and if that's true it doesn't sound like they have a whole lot of confidence in getting any value out of Izzy this year. I would not be surprised if it turns out to be the same situation as with Nen and Hoffman, where he is gone for the year.
