Just curious. In a 6x6 league with holds as a cat. Are these 2 guys similar in value? Ryan may get more K's, or will he? Who do you think is more valuable?
In a league with holds, the actual value to your team would be about the same, but Ryan has more perceived value such as for trades. It would depend on your individual league for how they rate setup men. Most leagues don't value them enough so paying full price for them makes no sense. In any case, take BJ Ryan. People are always willing to deal MR's for closers, but usually not the other way around.

Yeah cuz i actually have Ryan and I want Calero + an upgrade somewhere else (2 for 2 trade) but I cant work anything out with the guy. And dont wanna do it str8 up cuz im giving up too much i feel. Just wanted to check if it were perceived value or actual value.

Haha, I love Calero though...in a 6x6 league I can only think of a handful of guys that I like better. So why not grab an A?
