Anthony DiComo, of NewYork.Yankees.MLB.com, reports New York Yankees C Jorge Posada will be given the game off Wednesday, June 13, so that SP Mike Mussina can continue to be paired with C Wil Nieves.

EDIT: SCRATCH THAT. Posada is at DH tonight.

Gary Sheffield will be given today, Sunday June 17th off. Also pending is a decision on his three game suspension for a bat throwing/scaring the umpiress.

Thome getting his second game in a row off with a sore back today (Wed. 6/20). They have an off-day tomorrow so hopefully he'll be back for Friday's game.
