Scrub C I know...But I have him as a 2nd in a deep league. Has done nothing at all this week.

Would you rate him over Bengie Molina or Todd Greene?

Yes, much higher than either of those 2. He actually has potential.

So I have been told. My patience with scrub Cs is limited and when I see Dan Wilson starting again you have to wonder wha the M's think. I mean everyone knows Wilson blows and will hit next to nothing when all is said and done.

I like Bengie Molina better. I don't know why everyone knocks on him so much. For a late, late catcher, he is actually a pretty decent hitter in a lineup that can knock. He would have had better numbers last year if he hadn't been injured.

I'd take Molina over Olivo straight up. But if you're talking about a second catcher who you can spot play, Greene gains value. He'll get more PT than in the past if healthy, and he can get you some good numbers vs. lefties.

Molina's runs scored (or lack thereof) are what scare me...in the 30's the past 4 years. That is hard to do even for somoone as slow footed as he is.

No...we start 2 C's in that league. I rarely pay for elite Cs and got both Barrett for $1 and Olivo for a dollar. Barrett was a steal but if Olivo is so lame that Wilson is going to start half the time, then I am wondering if I should switch off to somone else. Barajas is around also.

I'm a Mariners fan and I still say start Molina over Olivo, Miguel really isn't that good and Benji has the advantage of that Angels lineup that you know will start cranking it sooner or later.

In one of my leagues, I start Molina at catcher, and he's tied for my team lead in HR with David Ortiz, so maybe I'm a little biased. :-b

In that case, I would say Molina over Olivo and hope he stays healthy for a change.
