This could be great for his fantasy value. Leading off in front of an offense that has Dmitri Young, Ivan Rodriguez, and Rondell White could leade to a good number of runs from him, which would be outstanding coming out of the catcher slot.
.290 avg, 90 runs, 60 rbi's, and 15 HR's could be very possible if he plays every day and get 550+ AB's.

Just picked him up. That multi-position eligibility could really come in handy. Especially if this kid can handle a bat at the top of that Detroit order...

Probably just happened because he was raking against the Indians (which he always seems to do), and because Infante had the day off. I can't see him hitting leadoff very much at all this year.

ESPECIALLY since I could really use the runs. Most of my team are 3, 4 and 5 hitters. And while that's great for RBI opportunities, runs are slim pickins.
