I was torn the entire time. I wanted DiMarco to come back after the 41 to finish his 3rd round, but I'd love to be able to say I saw Tiger break Jack's record. Overall, it was an incredible week. I just hope DiMarco eventually breaks through at Augusta, he's been so close so many times.
Awesome shot. I was thinking about Love doing something similar years ago. I think that Love's was further away but he didn't win and Tiger's was up against the collar. Tiger got some breaks, which you need, but I was glad to see Dimarco stand up to his challenge.
ugh i was so rooting for dimarco to pull off the upset win... but congrats to both of them for playing great..... just too bad dimarco had that terrible back 9 in the 3 rd round......
But they were made up for by some of the crazy things that happened to him earlier -- putting into the creek on 13, hitting the flag on 1 I think it was, etc.

I agree but it's amazing how wayward he is with his driver and all of the breaks that he gets that way. It seems like every time he skulls it in the woods, he gets a nice bounce and can play towards the green rather than just have to punch out.

I agree. While I can't say I saw this tournament, I've been watching him over the years and to me he seems to be the luckiest golfer I have ever seen. This is not to discredit him or his abilities, but luck always seems to be on his side (as well as the "rules," where a giant boulder is interpreted as a "loose impediment" that he can have the entire gallery move out of his way. To me, that was the most bs ruling I've ever seen ).
Congrats to Tiger again though, he's certainly amazing
