Anyone starting Giambi this week?

He's supposed to see an eye specialist today and status for Tues game is unclear according to CBS.
I benched him for Olerud this week because i didnt want to take the chance on him being out. Anyone heard anything more about how serious his staff infection in his eye is?

i dont know how serious it is, but in my league with daily changes, he's definitely out until i hear something good on his behalf...

I would play it safe and go with Olerud. Seattle plays Cle. and Det. this week so he should put up good numbers. The Yanks. play Ana. and Tex. Anaheim has some pitching and Texas you never know. Give up 15 one day, 2 the next.

Actually this week i'm playing the no.2 team in our 10 team h2h league. He's 4-2, im 6-0. I benched JaunGone, insert Jay Payton(7 games in Col). Benched Giambi, insert Olerud. Benched Hinske, insert Valentin. Benched Pedro, insert Lilly-2 starts vs Det,Cle. And Pedro isnt 100% going against Tex.

So i've made alot of changes to my team this week and i wouldnt be surprised if i came up with my 1st loss of the season this week. But Giambi is really starting to concern me
