I was a first round pick in the 1972 secondary draft, went on to play 12 seasons as an infielder for Cleveland and San Francisco, and had over 3000 AB's in my career while hitting over .270. However, I have the highest AB/HR of anybody since 1900, and had only a single HR in my career which came on the same night that Lou Brock tied and then broke Ty Cobb's all-time SB record.
Who am I?
Hint: If you play a lot of video games you'll recognize my name.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
