He's been a great signing so far. Plus, his defense really helps out our infield. Last year we had a merry-go-round with Larson and Freel there...if I remember right, and neither of those guys come close to playing defense as well as Randa. That's a big aspect which goes unnoticed a lot. He's a good player, I'm glad to have him.

Freel did an impressive job for playing every position last year, I think he could be much better if they stuck him in one spot. Plus he's too busy getting DUIs to have time to practice that many positions

Freel is a jack of all trades, but a master of none. He is good for a bench player, but should not be an everyday guy.
