I agree with the "always start your studs" mantra about 95% of the time. On the otherhand I wouldn't start Ollie right now, until he shows me he can throw strikes, and pitch solid at least once first.

That's if you consider him a stud. Many people don't, including myself.

if schmidt doesn't count as a "stud" -- then only santana, johnson, pujols, beltran, arod, vald would count as "studs"
comeon, he is a top 3 pitcher. that is a "stud"

I was talking about Ollie Perez, not Schmidt. Schmidt is a definate stud.
