I wouldn't trade Burnett for Smotlz straight up...Burnett is better than Smoltz, so even if you feel you didn't need an OFer, you only made his team stronger without making yours better. I do think you made your team a lil worse.
General manager Tim Purpura said outfielder Lance Berkman had "a setback" last week in his rehabilitation from offseason knee surgery. Purpura said while working out, Berkman experienced swelling in the knee and his planned rehab assignment at either Corpus Christi or Round Rock next week would be delayed. "It's probably unlikely that he'll start his rehab the 12th," Purpura said. "He's going on the road trip with us and he'll start doing baseball activities like hitting and throwing and we'll see where he's at then."
This means Berkman will not be able to return to Fantasy lineups in April at all, which is discouraging after reports had him well ahead of schedule. He could have been rushing himself back, which might mean the Astros seriously cool off his rehab schedule to play it safe. Consider him out for the first four Fantasy weeks at least right now.

Damn, that really sucks! I traded him straight up for Andruw Jones, hoping he'd get back when said. I should've known better. As for the Burnett/Smoltz side of it, Smoltzy rocked today. What, 15 K's? I think he's ready to handle the starting side of things, and I'd bump him right up there, if not past Burnett. Just my opinion though. Really sucks about Berkman, I'm bummed about that big-time...
