i don't mean to pee on the campfire or anything, but UFC is pretty lame now. when they went to all sorts of rules and weight classes and that crap it became a lot less exciting. i'll still watch the free stuff of course, but if you want to see some of the really good stuff. on of the best fights ever was UFC 9 with Don Frye against some jiu-jitsu guy who i forget the name of. i watched it so many times until my bro took it 3 years ago. dammit.

Was it Hoyce Gracie, or one of the other Gracies? I rented a video or two of UFC fights, and he was choking people out with authority.

nah, hoyce is in the real early ones. i looked it up, it was against amaury bitetti.

i remember watching the early UFCs...royce gracie, ken shamrock, dan severn...is this what... UFC 78? i just lost interest after a while...
