Beating up on the D-Rays is one thing, beating the Red Sox and Yankees is something else and something that we haven't been able to do in a couple of years.

I don't think that we'll have a better chance than tonight, our home opener and a good match-up, Bush vs. Arroyo. If they beat up on Bush and Arroyo shuts us down in our home opener we'll know that Boston's our Daddy.

C'mon Jays. Call it opening day optimism but I'm putting $20 on Bush.

I think Bush will be fine and I'm glad we're only facing Arroyo. I don't know if I'd put $20 on Bush, but it'd depend on the odds. Let's see if David can take down Goliath... literally

The odds weren't great (Bush +120) and I would not have laid the bet if it wasn't opening night.

I also put $20 on the over 10 combined runs. Here's hoping that Timlin and Foulke keep stinking it up.

I also went to the game tonight.

The new additions to the "rogers centre" were amazing. I thought the new turf looked incredible, and the jumbotron looked so clear it was amazing. Also the videoboards in the outfield are cool because it tells you about the other games, which is good

I really thought we were gonna beat foulke once we had the bases juiced for the O-dog but we couldn't come through. It was an exciting game, and this shows that we aren't a team to give up easily.

Haha, nah..I decided to keep mine but practically all the other people threw them. It made Toronto look bad.

I havn't been there yet (couple weeks left here in Guelph), but I watched the highlights on MLB.tv and the turf looks very nice

I'll have to get out to the park a few times though and check things out. Is there a noticeable difference between the old JumboTron and the new one? I remember being there when the old one was new, I can't believe they replaced it already. Maybe I'm older than I realize
