One is hot right now, and the other.... well he posted a 40.50 ERA lol. Don't get me wrong, I know it is early in the season and nearly everyone and their moms have blown a save already, but 3 HR? That scares me. I have Takatsu right now an I'm wondering if you guys think I should pick up Batista right now for my second closer behind F. Cordero. Thanks for any feedback

I like batista more, esp with the SP/RP yahoo elig.

Tats, I don't know. Maybe they are getting used to him. 3 solo HRs in a row? That's a little much.

I didn't like Takatsu last year, and was obviously proven completely wrong as he had a really fine season aftre being names closer. I still don't see how he can get hitters out with that crap he throws, but I guess he's been doing it for a lot of years in Japan, and now here for at least last season. Thus, the "Mr.Zero" tag.

That said, I am all about "stuff" and he just doesn't have any. I still think he gets blown out at some point and loses the gig to Hermanson. Meanwhile, Batista looks well suited to be a closer, and I believe he'll have a very solid season, so he's my choice here.
