I would take anybody in baseball over Daniel Cabrera. Except maybe Horacio Ramirez.

I agree, just not about Ramirez. Cabrera is an absolutely worthless fantasy option in almost all leagues at this point in his career.

I read somewhere that the scouts had been raving about Cabrera in ST. His numbers in ST were good after all.
I also read that Mizzilli was impressed with his improved control. He was impressed enough to move him to the 2 slot.
Also, a Red Sox official said he was the best they paced in ST.
The guy is 6'7" and has a cool name.
Just a little food for thought.

Well he hasn't been good in Rookie Ball, A Ball, or the Majors. I know he's only 24 but he has to be good somewhere other than a couple ST games before I even concsider considering him. If that makes sense...

I don't think either are terrible, but I agree with most...Bedard is the better choice. He is a real sleeper I think and was glad to get him late in my draft.
