I would take anybody in baseball over Daniel Cabrera. Except maybe Horacio Ramirez.

I agree, just not about Ramirez. Cabrera is an absolutely worthless fantasy option in almost all leagues at this point in his career.

Neither for me right now, though Bedard has the clearly bigger upside. Still a risk, though his K's will likely be decent.

I read somewhere that the scouts had been raving about Cabrera in ST. His numbers in ST were good after all.

I also read that Mizzilli was impressed with his improved control. He was impressed enough to move him to the 2 slot.

Also, a Red Sox official said he was the best they paced in ST.

The guy is 6'7" and has a cool name.

Just a little food for thought.

Well he hasn't been good in Rookie Ball, A Ball, or the Majors. I know he's only 24 but he has to be good somewhere other than a couple ST games before I even concsider considering him. If that makes sense... :-D

I don't think either are terrible, but I agree with most...Bedard is the better choice. He is a real sleeper I think and was glad to get him late in my draft.

As was I, and I agree with the consensus.

Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.
