What's his value in fantasy? Will he put up solid fantasy numbers? He's on waivers in my league and I'm thinking of dropping Reed for him.

He'll steal a lot of bases and score a lot of runs with a decent avg. Little power, and few RBI. He's a very good fantasy option at 2B.

I have Kent at 2B so Roberts would be playing utility for me. Right now I have Reed potentially playing there.

Unless you have a deep bench or desprately need speed, I wouldn't take 2B as a Util guy. There are too many other better position players.

Try to Trade Kent and then pick up Roberts ;-D

I agree.

While Roberts is more valuable than Reed because he can play 2B, I like Reed to outproduce him in an absolute sense.

Take him if you feel that you will need someone with good avg and sb's. I've got him in two league's because he was available deep into the draft.

I Agree that I would not use him as your full time utility player
