If the Mets trade for Julio, he would be a setup man. Julio is not a step up from Looper.

I remember on Baseball tonight about a week ago Kruk said that the O's had the best pen in the East because of Ryan, Julio, and Kline. I will give Kline his due as a middle reliever...but Julio? And Ryan as a first time closer? No way their pen is better than the Yanks or Boston.

If Braden is not the closer, who is? DeJean? Come on. Barring a trade, Looper has more security than the likes of Adams or Lyon. There simply is no one better in the Mets 'pen, no matter how he pitches.
