OK I am not trying to cause a panic here -
but a trade is getting vetoed in my league and the reasoning is because looper is being moved to setup man decreasing his value and making the trade uneven.
I want to know who is taking over for looper and if anyone can back up the info that looper isn't the closer anymore.....
IS LOOPER STILL METS CLOSER?

Even if he is being moved to setup (doubt it), that does not make it vetoable. No collusion should equal no veto.

looper is the closer.. for now and prob for whole year.. bullpen is pretty weak in mets
the only situation i can c looper losing job is that danys baez gets traded to them.. but unlikely
best keeper team ever!

looper is the closer until the mets decide to trade for jorge julio.

Yes, his job is about as safe as can get. Unless a trade happens there is nobody else in the Mets bullpen that takes the job away from him unless he completely collapses.
I agree. There are no solid in-house options at this point, and they don't have a whole lot of expendable pieces now to pry a top notch closer away from another team.

Julio? Do you guys really think that Julio is better than Looper? Personally I don't think so, but what are your thoughts?

There are too many teams this year starting with their closers getting "shelled".
Hopefully Looper isn't your main closer.
