5x5 roto public yahoo 12 team leagues for both

Team 1:
This team was more pitching oriented but I'm not overly disappointed with the offense.

Team 2:
This team doesn't have the pitching that the first one did but it does pretty well in that regard especially in the K's area. I love this lineup though with the HR's from Konerko, Kent, Beltre, and Patterson and the speed to burn from the OF and Util spots as well as getting a few steals from SS/C.

1B P. Konerko (CWS - 1B)
2B J. Kent (LAD - 2B)
3B A. Béltre (Sea - 3B)
SS P. Feliz (SF - 1B,3B,SS)
OF C. Crawford (TB - OF)
OF C. Patterson (ChC - OF)
OF J. Damon (Bos - OF)
Util A. Rowand (CWS - OF)
BN L. Overbay (Mil - 1B)
BN K. Greene (SD - SS)

SP B. Sheets (Mil - SP)
SP J. Peavy (SD - SP)
RP B. Wagner (Phi - RP)
RP G. Mota (Fla - RP)
P J. Rincón (Min - RP)
P S. Shields (LAA - RP)
P B. Lyon (Ari - RP)
BN J. Bonderman (Det - SP)
BN D. Wells (Bos - SP)

Team 1 looks good. Hopeully beltre and konerko repeat last year and feliz is going to be a nice utility once he gets OF eligible too.

Team 2 looks real fast to me although you probably won't get very many steals from Kendall this year since moving to oakland. I'd be wary of Moyer i think he's getting ready to feel his age. Personally i'd keep an eye on Danny Haren he had a great night tonight against a very tough baltimore lineup.

I like both teams. Neither is extremely weak in any area. Both are well rounded IMO. The second team will probably have a better year overall especially if Peavy can continue his mastery from last year. I don't really like Walker as a bench player, you might be able to add a more effective player.

K. Millar, P. Polanco, B. Mueller, and M. Bellhorn are all available in my league...would you take any of those over Walker?

No, I think you'll be all right with Walker; I might even start him over Finley. The only knock on Walker is that he tends to miss a third of the season with injuries. But it's well worth playing him when he's healthy, as long as you have other options too.

I wouldn't start Finley or Khalil Greene on your first team. I'd go with Feliz over Greene DEFINITELY, and Walker over Finley but that's a matter of opinion. I really like this first team in a 12 team league...Moyer looks ok but the guy that mentioned Haren made a good point. He looks very good and so does Erik Bedard. I see you have Feliz over Greene on team 2. Nice move. This team's pitching isn't much worse than team 1, only a slight downgrade because of a better 'Pen on team 1. Peavy Wood Burnett isn't much better than Peavy Sheets Bonderman but the Pen is much better on Team 1.
