That's how you handle false allegations. Good job Bo! ;-D

I think this is great news. Rather than side-stepping and dancing around the issue, or, better yet, apologizing for something but never actually stating what it is you are apologizing for, Bo steps up and says: "Show me PROOF!"

Bo was an amazing athelete. I hope he wins his lawsuit.

How would this lawsuit work?
Would they have to show proof that he used or would Bo have to show proof that he didn't?

My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

Just like any other lawsuit. They will have to show proof that Bo used.

I wonder if time would have anything to do with it. I mean there would be no point in him taking a test now.
It probably doesn't matter, all cases involving people with money end up settled out of court.

I agree that it would be pointless to test him now. They accused him of using steroids, he sued for slander. Now they have to prove they are right, telling the truth, and it's not slander because it's the truth. Odds are that they will pay Bo for this mistake (settle out of court) and print a retraction in the paper. Then again, if by some chance they have concrete proof, this will get very interesting. Personally, I think Bo's innocent, but I'm curious to see where this story goes. :-?

Just saw on Sportscenter that the newspaper has apologized and retracted part of the story. The announcers are not sure what's going to happen next, but Bo's winning already. ;-D
