Has anyone heard any bad buzz on this guy? Two games into the season and his owner dumps him in my league. He's 0 for freakin 6. Is this as bone-headed as I think, or have I missed some scary news about Cabrera?

Hank Blalock is 0-10, hell he was 0-6 last night....Cabera is struggling at the plate in spring & the early season, but he will be just fine long term
15 Hrs, 20 SBs & around a 280 avg.

I don't know what this guy is thinking. He drafts Cabrera in the 7th round and drops him after two games. I've got the #1 waiver position, and am thinking strongly about picking him up. I've already got Michael Young, so this would set me up to swing a trade and fill some holes. I only hesitate because the guys in my league aren't real adventurous. I might never deal him, I don't really want to use both of them, and now I'm at the back of the waiver list. Decisions, decisions....

That is a really stupid move on his part, no reason for him to do that. How many people in the league? Use your waiver priority, even if you dont need him. Hold on to him for a while, and deal him when he gets hot.

It's a 12 team league. I'm fairly confident that there are at least a couple other guys who will put in a waiver claim. The guy who lost Bobby Crosby was picking thru the wreakage for guys like Lugo and Valentin today. So I gotta think he'll put in a claim. He's the one I'd most likely try to swing a deal with if I decide to pick up Cabrera.
