Just a heads up per Tigers insider Danny Knobler.

Magglio has a viral infection. Nothing real serious, but Tram has decided to play it real cautious. He's not playing today, won't start tomorrow and could even miss the whole weekend. He needs to build up his strength, after last week's intestinal thing and now this. Higginson is playing RF today.

Sounds more and more likely that Magglio will miss the whole weekend and possibly more while he gets rid of this viral infection and builds up his strength.

Magglio targetting Tuesday(4/12) for a return to the line-up. Trammel not so sure. He wants to watch Magglio work out first before clearing him to play.

I think I'm benching him until he looks like his timing is back...seeing him actually swing and make contact after coming back might help...I know he looked terrible when I watched one of the games he played in last week...he looked like Larry Walker trying to hit Randy Johnson
