It's to my understandings that he has to play 5 games at 2b to qualify there. He'll have his 5 games on Apr. 9th. Can we count on yahoo to give kaz 2b eligibility soon after the 9th? because I just traded for kaz and the trade completes on the 11th and if he doesn't get the eligibility before then, I'll need to find someone off the waiver wire. Thanks.

I don't know for sure but I would assume that yahoo would give him the eligibility the game after his 5th at second base.

Your guess is as good as ours as to when Yahoo! will update that kind of stuff. I would assume that they'll probably have it done in time but you never know...

Don't forget, his back was bothering him this spring. So, there's always the possibility he might not start either tomorrow or Saturday.

Remember, under Yahoo's new rules you have to START five games at a position to become eligible (otherwise, its 10 games).

Hmm... I remember it being 15 games. He'll eventually get it, but I don't know if he will by the time you'll need it. I'd start scanning for a decent 2B filler for now.

Last year, the changes were usually made the following day after the required start. I remember Huff getting 3b eligibility sometime the following afternoon after he made his 15th start (5th this year).
