Heh.
I just made a post in the commentary/vent forum about grabbing Loaiza late in my draft, then sitting him today. A third of the way in, he's putting the shut-down on Philly. We'll see, but he may actually force me to start him one of these days.

Last year he was better in May, June, and July than he was in April. 2003 he was great in every month except September. In 2002 he didn't even pitch in April. Yeah, he's always good in April...
He blew up in the 6th somewhat but it's his first start of the year... let's see how he does against Atlanta next week. Who knows, he could end up being roster worthy.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"

4 runs on 5 hits is an abnormality as well -- not bad against a philly lineup -- defintely roster worthy in a larger league
Not when you toss in 3 walks. 5 hits and 3 walks equalling 4 earned runs isn't that unheard of.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Who knows when this nice little ride ends...it's an enjoyable journey right now, and Loaiza probably should have a few wins by now instead of just the one.
Also, RFK is a pitcher's park thus far. Not sure how this park will play is hot/humid DC summer, but all I know is I'm happy with what Loaiza has done thus far.
