What's the best way to predict when catchers will rest?

I have Piazza and Pudge in the one team. I want to play Piazza in the UTIL spot as often as possible but don't really want to waste that spot for when he rests.

Any ideas how you can predict when he will rest? Is there a certain pitcher that he definately will or won't catch?

Yep Also watch for if certain pitchers prefer certain catchers. For example last year Barrett was easy to predict as he'd catch 4 out of 5 days. Bako would catch Maddux every time and give Barrett the day off...

Last year I had VMart and he seemed to take a lot of either Fridays or Saturdays off. I can't recall which one. It got to be regular enough that I could fairly safely bench him but I never really worrried about it most of the time and left him in. We used a bunch of cats and most C were painfully bad to use...

Just so ya know, Dusty "officially" has said Barrett will catch everyone this year, no specific P/C matchups. That being said, Blanco has caught Maddux before so there may be some kind of split there.

After watching last nights AZ/CHN game, I would expect Snyder to start for AZ when Webb is pitching. Webb is a sinker baller and Snyder is the better defensive C.
