Somehow the Nats have to get this guy out of the leadoff position - he has too much power for there IMO.

You're preaching to the choir. I have him in four leagues and drafted him thinking he would hit third or fourth.

Yup - I also drafted him this year thinking he was hitting in the #3 spot. :-o

Hopefully the Nats will move him down a bit in the order.

He's their best OBA guy so it makes sense for him to be leadoff. Vidro should be 2nd, Johnson 3rd, and Guillen 4th. That's the way it should be anyway... Guzman has no business in the top half of the lineup, he's an awful hitter.

Why would they move him down? The leadoff hitter should get on base, and lo and behold, that's exactly his forte. Anyone can knock in runs, not everyone can get on base. Besides, he'll probably see more steals in the leadoff position.

With his OBP, it helps the Nats more to have him in the leadoff, methinks.

I agree that he's best suited for the leadoff spot, high OBP which is exactly what you want at the top of the order.

BTW Welcome to the Cafe ;-D And for future references this probably goes in the Game Commentary Forum ;-)
